Lecturer in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

£27,185 - £41,014 per annum gross pro rata

Contractual hours 18.5

The Role

As a member of the Adult Education Team, reporting to the Head of School, you will deliver English for Speakers of Other Languages to a variety of learners at all levels including international learners, Commercial, Job Centre Plus, NEET or similar provision from outside agencies. You will teaching both full time and part time learners in a range of settings including offsite/workplace/vocational. 

The start date for this post will be week commencing 1st September 2025 (work pattern to be confirmed).

What are we looking for

You should have a recognised level 5 teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one as well as a Level 5 subject specialist qualification in ESOL or a willingness to work towards.

You will also have experience of teaching in a further education teaching ESOL students, ideally including a variety of settings such as, commercial, Job Centre Plus, NEET or similar provision from outside agencies.
