Lettings Negotiator - Independent Estate Agency, Leicester
Salary: £13,400 - £14,300 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00 - 5:00pm (No weekends)
Holiday: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
Mileage: Business mileage paid at 45p per mile
An established independent estate agency in Leicester is seeking a motivated and organised Lettings Negotiator to join their team. With a portfolio of approximately 300 fully managed properties, the agency prides itself on offering a high level of service, attention to detail, and a personal approach to both landlords and tenants.
The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of property experience and must possess their own vehicle. This is a varied and client-focused role, ideal for someone looking to grow their career in residential lettings.
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming telephone calls and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Direct enquiries and messages to the relevant team members promptly
• Serve as a direct and approachable point of contact for landlords and tenants
• Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants
• Prepare and process tenancy agreements and associated paperwork
• Assist with property maintenance coordination and issue resolution
• Support the letting of properties, ensuring compliance and attention to detail
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all administration is up to date
• Provide excellent customer service at all stages of the lettings process

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in residential lettings or property
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Own vehicle and full UK driving licence
• Confident, professional, and customer-focused approach
• Knowledge of tenancy processes and property management (preferred)
