Exam Invigilator

Veritas Education is seeking Exam Invigilators to support schools across Sheffield during upcoming exam periods. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a structured environment and have a keen eye for detail.

The Role:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will be responsible for ensuring that exams are conducted fairly, securely, and in accordance with all regulations. Your duties will include:

• Supervising students during examinations, ensuring they adhere to exam rules.
• Setting up exam rooms and distributing exam papers.
• Managing exam timings, ensuring students have the correct materials.
• Observing and reporting any incidents of malpractice or disturbances.
• Providing clear instructions to students as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

We welcome applications from individuals with the following skills and experience:

• Experience working in an educational or supervisory role (e.g., Teaching Assistants, Classroom Support Staff).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow exam protocols carefully.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with students and staff.
• A calm, approachable demeanor, with the ability to remain focused in a busy environment.
• Reliability and punctuality.
