Exam Invigilator - Exeter

JOB TITLE: Temporary Exams Invigilator

LOCATION: Exeter outskirts

HOURLY RATE: £12-£12.50 per hour DOE

HOURS: Minimum 4 hours per exam day

THE ROLE: Office Angels are currently seeking a highly organised and efficient exams invigilator to support one of our clients based on the outskirts of Exeter. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth exam procedure is followed as well as crucial support following guidelines in exam hall set up.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make sure that all candidates are seated according to the seating plan
• Tell the candidates they must now follow the rules of the examination
• Check that the candidates have all the correct materials for the examination
• Tell candidates about emergency procedures
• Specify the time allowed
• Remind candidates that they are not allowed to communicate in any way with, ask for help from, or give help to any other candidate while they are in the exam room

KEY SKILLS:

• Prior invigilator experience is desirable
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and individually
• Organised and able to prioritise workload
