Exciting Opportunity for SEN Science and Maths Teacher

Job Title: SEN Science and Maths Teacher (SEMH)
Location: Bedford (MK44)
Rate: £120 - £200 per day (dependent on experience/MPS)
Contract Type: Potential long-term to permanent opportunity

We are currently seeking proactive and experienced SEN Science and Maths Teachers to join a supportive SEMH school in Bedford. The school caters to learners aged 7 to 19 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including those who have been excluded or suspended from mainstream settings.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging Science and Maths lessons tailored to SEMH learners.
* Manage challenging behaviours effectively with a positive and understanding approach.
* Support learners' communication needs.
* Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience working with SEMH learners in the UK.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management.
* TeamTeach certification (desirable not essential).
* Experience with symbol communication systems such as Widgit, PCS, and Makaton (desirable not essential).
