Remedy Recruitment Limited is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a highly specialised SEN school in South West London. This is a long-term, full-time role working within purpose-built SEN units designed to support students with severe autism and complex learning needs.

• Supporting pupils with severe autism, complex learning difficulties, and behavioural needs

• Working within small classes of 6-12 students alongside experienced SEN staff

• Carrying out personal care and hoisting duties as required

• Supporting students with communication, sensory, and behavioural needs

• Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning programmes

• Promoting a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

• Proven experience in an SEN school or setting

• Comfortable with personal care and manual handling (training desirable)

• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and challenging behaviour

• Resilient, calm, and proactive under pressure

• A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare

• Team Teach or similar de-escalation training is an advantage
