Academics are recruiting for a friendly and inclusive primary school in Ellesmere Port looking for a passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team.

The school believes that children learn best when they feel safe, confident, curious and encouraged to explore. You'll be joining a team that values play-based learning, communication and developing children's independence.

Your day could include:

Supporting children across Nursery and Reception.
Encouraging communication, language and social development.
Supporting learning through play and practical activities.
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.
Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups.
Helping create an exciting and stimulating learning environment.
Supporting children's personal care and wellbeing where required.We're looking for someone who has:

A Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification - desirable.
Previous experience working with EYFS-aged children.
A genuine passion for early childhood education.
A patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
An understanding of safeguarding and child development.Whether you're an experienced EYFS practitioner or a qualified TA looking to develop your classroom experience, this could be an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive school team.
