Join our School of Creative Studies as a Lecturer in Fashion, Textiles, and Art and Design. This role is ideal for a professional who is deeply engaged in both their subject matter and pedagogical development, committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

• Teach across a variety of fashion and art-related disciplines, particularly focusing on design, research/design sourcing, and fabric manipulation/textiles.
• Deliver courses such as L2 Dip in Fashion Business and Retail, Level 2 Art and Design, and L3 A&D - Fashion & Textiles.
• Prepare comprehensive schemes of work, lesson plans, and resource materials to support teaching programmes.
• Utilize IT and learning technologies to enhance curriculum delivery.
• Deliver and assess Functional Skills, integrating them into the curriculum.
• Prepare and communicate assessment plans and schedules, setting clear expectations for students.
• Implement the School’s policies on assessment and homework, and participate in the evaluation of programme effectiveness.

• Considerable subject-based knowledge in Fashion, Textiles, and Art and Design.
• Strong pedagogic skills and a commitment to continuous professional development in teaching and learning practices.
• Ability to use IT and learning technologies effectively in teaching.
• Experience in curriculum design and delivery, as well as student assessment.
• Commitment to inclusive learning practices and promotion of equal opportunities.
