Job Description - Female Support Worker - Relief

Join Our Team as a Relief Female Support Worker in Winlaton!

Pay: £12.45 per hour (+12.07% Additional Accrual)
Position: Relief / Bank Worker
Location: Winlaton NE21 (5 min drive from Blaydon Shopping Centre)
Requirements: Full UK driving licence essential (Covering Manual Vehicles)

Looking for a flexible role that fits around your current commitments? As a Relief Support Worker, you choose your hours with no obligation to accept shifts.

Your hourly rate is enhanced with an additional 12.07% to cover annual leave, making your total pay £13.95 per hour.

About the Person We Support

We support a witty young lady in her 20s who loves:

Football
Music
Spending time with family, especially her nieces
Gaming
Shopping

She is autistic, has a moderate learning disability, epilepsy, and needs our support to live independently in her own home. Your role will include providing emotional reassurance during moments of distress, with full positive behaviour support training provided. Previous experience is essential. A full UK driving licence for manual vehicles is also essential for this role.

If you have a great sense of humour, love to laugh, and don't take life too seriously, you'll be a perfect match!

What Will You Be Doing?

Empowering Independence: Support her to live her life how she chooses, achieve her goals, and be herself.
Daily Support: Assist with medication, food shopping, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
Encouragement: Provide friendly encouragement and prompts for her personal care routines.

Flexible Shift Patterns

24-Hour Shifts: 10am - 10am the following day (includes £45 sleepover shift)
Day Shifts : 11am - 7pm for 2:1 support - Can be flexible to an earlier finish depending on activity or plans.
Sleep-In Shifts: 11pm - 7am (Paid to Sleep)

This role includes a combination of weekdays and weekends. Enjoy the flexibility to choose your shifts and work around your personal schedule . Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance, which we're very passionate about!
