Finance Assistant

We have partnered with a successful distribution business based in the Braintree area who are seeking to recruit a part time Finance Assistant on a permanent basis to join a close-knit team, who would provide support to the primary group and their subsidiary companies.

Responsibilities:
As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for…

• Arranging new subcontractor/supplier accounts and maintaining existing accounts.
• Assisting with payment runs
• Checking subcontractor/supplier statements
• Ensuring that the Accounts mailbox is managed correctly
• Assisting with both the month end processes and audit preparation
• Ensuring that payment runs are carried out correctly

Requirements:

To work in this role, you will need

• Experience working with Xero is essential
• Experience within a similar role
• Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential
• Ability to take accounts to TB
