Job Description - Finance Assistant

Reed Accountancy are partnering with a large business in Stowmarket to recruit a Finance Assistant. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the finance department, ensuring precise handling of financial transactions, and maintaining records. This position demands a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role can be full time or part time (3 days per week) 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial reports 
  • Data entry 
  • Respond to queries professionally and efficiently 
  • Support with audits 
  • Manage petty cash transactions and prepare expense reports.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong administrative skills and experience with financial systems
  • Good customer service skills
  • Problem solving skills
