Part-Time Finance Assistant (3-Day Equivalent, FTC)
Location: Melton Mowbray (Hybrid after 3 months)
Salary: £33,000 FTE (approx. £20,000 for 3 days per week)
Contract: 3–6 months fixed-term (potential for permanent)

A dynamic and growing business is seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to support its finance function during a period of transition and change.

Key Details:

• Part-time (3-day equivalent) – flexible how the hours are spread across the week
• Initially office-based in Melton Mowbray
• Hybrid working (up to 2 days from home) available after 3 months

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Reconciling bank transactions and month-end entries
• Managing engineering hours and supporting payroll admin
• Preparing VAT and CIS data
• Handling credit control and supplier queries
• Supporting the wider finance team with admin and routine tasks
• Identifying and suggesting improvements in finance processes

What They Are Looking For:

• Experience using Sage 50 or Sage 200
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
• Strong Excel and admin skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage your own workload
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

What’s on Offer:

• £33,000 FTE (approximately £20,000 for 3 days)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata)
