Finance Assistant

Join our client as a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Sage 50 Accounts and a solid grasp of day-to-day financial operations. The position offers highly flexible working hours, making it perfect for those seeking adaptable schedules.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments to maintain accurate financial records.
• Managing both sales and purchase ledgers to ensure all transactions are recorded promptly.
• Assisting in the production of management accounts to support financial reporting and analysis.
• Focusing on end-of-year banking and quarterly banking tasks, ensuring all financial activities are completed accurately and on time.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts.
• Experience in sales and purchase ledger.
• Capable of assisting with the production of management accounts.
• Ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines.
• No requirement to act as a link manager, allowing focus on core financial tasks.
