Job Description - Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant (Part Time)

Hours - 3 days per week, 22.5 hours.
Salary - £14,847.30 per annum (£24,745.00 FTE)

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join one of our top clients based in Chandlers Ford. This position would suit someone who is looking for their first step into an accounting position and an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience within a reputable company.

The Role:

Manage the Accounts inbox, ensuring timely and helpful responses.
Process expenses accurately through the Web Expenses system.
Raise customer credit notes regularly.
Handle customer invoice and payment queries, resolving issues promptly.
Process payments (BACS, Direct Debits, cheques, and cash).
Maintain and reconcile the Petty Cash register.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts as scheduled.
Prepare financial reports and information for colleagues and third parties.

The Ideal Candidate:

Graduate or studying towards their AAT qualification
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Able to prioritise own workload
Excellent in Microsoft Office packages
Organised and have good attention to detail
