Accounts Assistant

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Calbourne, Isle of Wight

Hours: 20 - 24 hours per week within office hours

Days: 3-4 days per week (Monday - Friday)

Duration: 3-6 months ( may be temp to perm for the right candidate)

Duties:

Purchase Ledger duties including matching, coding and processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies,

Credit Card transaction reconciliation against statements and receipts,

Fixed Asset Register audits and reconciliation,

Review of Sales and Purchase orders, review, audit and investigate discrepancies, close completed orders.

KPI reporting,

Assisting with other finance activities, as required.

Experience:

Must have previous accounting experience including purchase ledger duties and an understanding of financial controls.

Must have a good level of computer literacy including the use of ERP systems plus the ability to analyse date and produce reports using Excel. Knowledge of EFACS is an advantage.

Must have excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to details with the ability to work to deadlines.

Must have the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.

Salary: £15.00 per hour worked
