Job Description - Finance Director

Position: Finance Director
Location: Birmingham (on-site, 3 days per week)
Day Rate: £230 – £250 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: Until September 2025 (Potential for extension)

We’re supporting a well-established organisation in Birmingham in their search for a part-time Finance Director to support strategic growth and provide steady financial leadership during a key period of change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all financial operations and strategic planning
  • Oversee and support a small finance team
  • Provide accurate forecasting, reporting and budgeting to the senior leadership team
  • Ensure financial compliance and governance across the organisation
Essential Requirements:
  • Demonstrated recent experience as a Finance Director
  • Comfortable with part-time working (3 days a week)
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a finance team
  • Strong presence on site, with a hands-on approach
This role would suit an experienced, commercially aware FD who thrives in a flexible working model but is still deeply embedded in day-to-day operations. Immediate start available.
