Part Time Finance Manager
9 Month Maternity Cover Contract
25 hours per week minimum (more can be accommodated)

Highly successful SME client in the manufacturing sector is requiring a contract Finance
Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave. The individual is due to go on leave early May
but they're keen for a smooth and thorough handover so looking at a March - April start. My
client will happily consider a reduced hours / part time working pattern with minimum 24
hours pw required.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director & CEO and help them
steer the company during the 12 month period. This is a standalone finance position but
there is administrative support from other functions and cross-over in other's roles (eg
payroll processing). This would suit someone experienced and confident in their own
technical abilities who is also hands-on and won't mind some of the more junior / mundane
tasks required from a standalone role. Someone from a SME Finance / Accounts Manager
background who can work autonomously with a great degree of accuracy and efficiency. A
background in manufacturing and Sage 50 would also be advantageous but can be taught.

reinvestment with exciting operational growth plans afoot. This is supported by healthy sales

over recent years and ever-increasing customer enquiries. There is a notable sense of

Job spec available on request and will encompass bookkeeping, management accounts,
compliance, year-end accounts, HR admin and company secretarial duties. Sage 50 finance
system.
