Finance Manager

Search are partnering with our Edinburgh based client to recruit a Finance Manager on a part-time basis with hybrid and flexible working.

Within the role, you'll be responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis, managing cash flow, overseeing regulatory compliance, and leading the budgeting and financial planning processes. Additionally, you'll provide strategic financial guidance and work closely with the senior leadership team.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Support senior management with data-driven financial insights to help achieve strategic and financial objectives.
* Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and rolling budget updates.
* Manage and streamline accounting processes to maximise efficiency.
* Oversee cash flow management.
* Produce year-end statutory accounts.
* Ensure compliance with UK and international regulations, including VAT.
* Lead the annual budget process and maintain updated financial forecasts.
* Develop key performance metrics and recommend actions to address variances.
* Identify financial risks and deliver effective mitigation.

Key skills and experience you'll ideally have:
* A Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant
* Strong IT and analytical skills.
* Strong strategic finance background.
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate reporting on time.
* Effective communicator with a collaborative approach.
* Confident delivering strategic analysis and hands-on accounting tasks.
