Job Description - Finance Manager (Part-time 30 hours per week)

You will also have the opportunity to shape reporting, improve processes and contribute to the ongoing development of the finance function.
Your new role As the successful candidate, your duties will include:
Producing monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis. Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial planning activities. Providing financial insight and guidance to budget holders and non-finance stakeholders. Overseeing billing, credit control and payroll processes. Supporting audit requirements, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance. Maintaining and strengthening financial controls across the organisation. Developing meaningful management information, reporting and KPIs for senior stakeholders. Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and efficiencies. Supporting and developing members of the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed To be the successful candidate, you will need:
A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent finance experience. Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar position. Strong budgeting, forecasting and management accounting capability. Experience producing accurate financial reports and analysis. Excellent Excel and finance systems skills. The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial audiences. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. A collaborative and solutions-focused approach to stakeholder management. Experience within education, charity or other purpose-led organisations would be advantageous.
