Our client, a growing professional services firm, is seeking an Interim Financial Controller to support them through a key phase of transformation. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute financial professional to deliver real impact across both operational finance and strategic decision-making.

As Financial Controller, you will…

• Lead the finance function, delivering accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and insightful analysis

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning aligned to business objectives

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial guidance on business performance and growth opportunities

• Manage external relationships including auditors, banks, and key professional partners

• Drive improvements in cash flow, working capital management, and risk mitigation

• Deliver financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions

• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, embedding best practice and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

As a Financial Controller, you will need…

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience

• Experience in a senior finance role within a professional services or project-based environment

• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate at board level

• Strong commercial mindset and hands-on approach to problem-solving

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
