Part-Time Financial Controller - 3 days a week - £80,000 pro rata – Nottingham

We’re looking for a Part-Time Financial Controller to bring expertise, insight, and leadership to our client's finance function in Nottingham.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll oversee the financial operations of the Group – providing accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making. You’ll manage budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and cash flow – all while leading a skilled team of three.

This is a pivotal role where your voice matters.

What You’ll Do...

Prepare monthly management accounts and lead the external audit process

Guide annual budgeting and forecasting cycles

Maintain tight control over payments and weekly cash flow forecasting

Analyse financial and project performance to drive strategic improvements

Oversee payroll reviews and ensure compliance (incl. P11Ds)

Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team

Continuously improve systems, processes, and reporting tools

Support long-term planning with data-driven insights

What we are looking for...

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified

5+ years in a senior finance leadership role

Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge (ERP experience a plus)

Excellent analytical and communication skills

Proven team leadership and a proactive, hands-on approach

This is a Part-Time Position
