Financial Controller wanted for client in Liverpool

About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a experienced Financial Controller looking to work with a dynamic and forward thinking retail business in Liverpool. Our clients business is growing and they require a hands on detail oriented finance professional to lead the finance function, improve robust processes and financial controls. You will be a crucial part of the business providing clear and insightful management information, developing and managing budgets, as well as creating financial forecasts to help with planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities and experience:

·        Managing cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

·        Improving processes and financial controls

·        Balance sheet reconciliation

·        Experience with leading a small finance team

·        Confident with presenting information to financial/non-financial leader

·        Confident user with Excel including, pivots, sum ifs and graphs

·        Experience with Xero (Sage50 & QuickBooks would be a bonus)

·        you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years)

Based: Liverpool onsite 
Hours: Part-Time 2/3 days per week
Salary: £38 per hour
Role Type: Part-Time, self employed
