We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with an established based in Ipswich, seeking a proactive and commercially astute Financial Controller to join its leadership team on a part-time basis.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced finance professional looking to make a strategic impact in a dynamic, growth-oriented business.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the leadership team, you will take ownership of the finance function and contribute actively to the company’s continued profitability and efficiency. Responsibilities include:

Overseeing day-to-day financial operations including billing, banking, credit control, and purchasing
Preparing monthly board packs, quarterly VAT returns, annual financial statements, business forecasts, and corporation tax support
Managing cash flow and payroll, and processing HMRC returns
Supporting commercial decision-making through insightful analysis
Managing HR matters and contracts, and office administration

Who We're Looking For

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Commercially aware, detail-oriented, and tenacious, with excellent organisational skills
