Part-Time Financial Controller wanted in Merseyside

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to support a retail business in Merseyside.

The business is growing and is in need of a reliable and hands on Financial Controller who will be able to hit the ground running and provide them with stability as well as improving robust financial controls and processes. You will also be pivotal to providing accurate reports and management information on a timely manner as well as dealing with budgets and forecasting.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

 Your expertise should include:

• Management accounts 

• Balance sheet reconciliations 

• Budgets, cashflow and profit forecasting 

• Experience and working knowledge of Xero (If you also have experience with QuickBooks and/or Sage50 as well that would be great) 

• Experience of managing and leading a small team 

• Experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls 

• Year-end processes (but not statutory accounts) 

• Experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs 

• Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders 

• You must be fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACMA  /FCCA / ICAEW) or QBE with experience managing a finance team

Salary: £38 per hour

Location: Merseyside (Onsite)

Hours: 2 days minimum per week
