Job Title: Fleet Administrator (Temporary)
Contract Type: Minimum 3 months
Location: Borehamwood
Working Hours: Monday to Friday part time, 10.00 am - 2.00pm (Hybrid)
Hourly Rate: £13.85
Job Purpose:
My client is seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to support the daily operations of their Fleet Services department. This temporary role involves assisting in the coordination, administration, and maintenance of the organisation's fleet vehicles to ensure efficiency, compliance, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assist with the coordination and scheduling of vehicle maintenance, servicing, MOTs, and repairs.
·Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all fleet vehicles using internal systems.
·Support in the monitoring of vehicle tracking systems and fuel usage to ensure cost-effective operations.
·Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, and drivers to ensure timely vehicle availability.
·Help ensure compliance with health and safety, insurance, and licensing regulations.
·Assist with processing vehicle documentation, including tax, insurance, and lease agreements.
·Monitor vehicle defects and escalate where appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
·Provide general administrative support including data entry, reporting, and responding to inquiries.
Person Specification:
Essential:
·Previous experience in an administrative role,
·Confident telephone manner
·Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
·Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
·Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word).
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
