Are you a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher looking for your next challenge? Academics is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Calderdale for a fixed term cover position starting in September 2025.

?? The Role:

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and practical lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Plan and assess high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles
• Foster a love for food education, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles
• Work collaboratively with a supportive department and wider school staff
• Inspire students to develop practical skills and a strong understanding of food science

? Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
