Role Overview:
As a Food Technology Teacher in Luton, you will deliver high-quality lessons to students across a range of year groups, from KS3 to KS4 (and possibly KS5). You will teach the fundamentals of food preparation, nutrition, and cooking, while also exploring food science and the role food plays in a balanced lifestyle. Your creativity and enthusiasm will be key in engaging students, promoting hands-on learning, and encouraging students to develop their culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students the essential skills of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Support students in developing a strong understanding of healthy eating habits and the importance of food in maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
• Use a range of teaching methods to suit the different needs of learners, from practical skills to theoretical knowledge.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about food, cooking, and education, with a commitment to inspiring students.
• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
