Full or Part-time Bookkeeper

A highly regarded, friendly firm of Accountants are seeking a new Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Answering client queries regarding bookkeeping
• Payroll duties - starters, leavers, statutory deductions, generating payslips, etc
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Opportunity to get involved in Tax or accounts production if you have prior experience / are keen to learn

Experience working within a firm of Accountants or bookkeeping bureau would be highly beneficial. You must be a strong double-entry Bookkeeper and ideally have previous experience using Xero software.

The company can consider both full or part-time, to suit the successful candidate. Ideally, you will be looking for circa 25 hours per week and upwards
