Hourly Rate: £25 - £35
Location: Northwest London
Job Type: Part-time (14 hours per week, with potential for additional cover)
Contract Duration: Fixed term from 1st September 2025 to 26th June 2026

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Functional Skills Maths Lecturer to join our client's ESOL department in Northwest London. This role is ideal for educators who are enthusiastic about supporting young ESOL learners (aged 16-18) in developing essential numeracy skills.

• Deliver engaging Functional Skills Maths lessons at entry levels tailored to ESOL learners.
• Create lesson plans and resources that align with curriculum standards and learner needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
• Collaborate with ESOL department staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Be available to teach and potentially cover sessions Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional evening cover.

• CELTA qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven teaching experience, ideally within Functional Skills or ESOL settings.
• Strong understanding of numeracy instruction for ESOL learners.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to inclusive and supportive teaching practices.

• Competitive hourly rate between £25 and £35.
