Geography Teacher

Veritas Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Dewsbury from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons to students aged 11-16, and to play a key role in a supportive and dynamic Humanities department.

About the Role:

• Deliver creative and effective Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work to ensure excellent progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices
• Inspire students through real-world geography, sustainability, and global awareness
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Geography and a passion for teaching
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
