About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, focusing on physical and human geography, environmental issues, and sustainable development.
- Plan and lead fieldwork trips to diverse locations, fostering hands-on learning and practical application of geographical concepts.
- Assess student progress through fieldwork reports, research projects, presentations, and essays, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a passion for geographical inquiry and contribute to extracurricular geography clubs and environmental initiatives.
- Participate in departmental planning, curriculum development, and the integration of GIS technology into teaching.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Geography.
- Proficiency in GIS software and extensive experience leading fieldwork.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- A deep passion for environmental sustainability, global issues, and geographical research.
