Job Title: German Speaking Credit Controller

Contract: Part-Time (25 hours a week), Permanent

Location: Great Stukeley, Cambridgeshire (Office Based)

Salary: Up to £21,500 pro rata (£30,000 – £32,000 full-time equivalent)

Are you fluent in German and looking for a flexible, part-time role within a friendly and dynamic team? We’re looking for a dedicated German Speaking Credit Controller to join our client's growing finance department in Cambridgeshire.

About the Role

As a key member of our client's credit control team, you will play a vital role in maintaining positive cash flow and supporting customer relationships. This is a part-time, permanent position, ideal for someone with strong language skills and a background in finance or credit control.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicating with business customers to follow up on overdue payments in a professional and effective manner
• Investigating customer credit histories and identifying outstanding debts
• Establishing and managing repayment agreements, liaising with debt advisors where necessary
• Creating and updating accurate customer account records
• Handling and reconciling incoming payments
• Initiating legal recovery actions when debts remain unpaid beyond agreed terms

What We’re Looking For

• Fluency in German at a native or near-native level (spoken and written)
• Previous experience in credit control or a finance-related role is preferred
• Familiarity with accounting software and general accounting principles
• Strong customer service and communication skills, particularly in a B2B environment
• Proactive, well-organised, and detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset
