Supply Teach is recruiting a Graduate Cover Supervisor to work in local schools. Gain first-hand experience of school life, build your confidence and discover whether teaching is right for you.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise classes during teacher absences, helping pupils complete work that has already been prepared.

Responsibilities

Explain lesson tasks and help pupils stay engaged.

Maintain a positive, focused classroom environment.

Follow school behaviour and safeguarding procedures.

Provide feedback to school staff after lessons.

Requirements

This Graduate Cover Supervisor role suits graduates who have:

An interest in teaching and working with young people.

Clear communication skills and confidence leading a group.

A reliable, organised and adaptable approach.

*

Availability from 8:15am–3:15pm on their working days.

Graduates from a range of subjects are welcome. No teaching qualification is required. Tutoring, coaching, mentoring or youth-work experience is useful.
