Graphic Design Manager

Randstad are currently recruiting on behalf of the Belfast Metropolitan College for a Graphic Design Officer to work out of their Springvale campus on a temporary basis.

Requirements:

• Hold a Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in graphic design
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a design role
• Demonstrable experience of using graphic design packages such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience of delivering high quality print and digital designs from conception to completion
• Experience of working on multiple projects for a range of internal and external customers
• Experience in the use of Content Management Systems

Responsibilities:

• The postholder will be responsible for contributing and supporting the work of the College Design Studio. In particular, the postholder will provide design support for Print Services and Web and Digital Services.
• To work on client briefs and college projects from concept to online and print production completion.
• To liaise with colleagues and senior design and marketing staff to discuss business objectives, interpreting the client brief and business needs.
• To liaise with internal customers and marketing staff to produce creative artwork and design for print and digital services.
• To assist the Senior Design Officer in coordinating and prioritising academic and support design requests using all appropriate resources and adhering to time lines
• To contribute to a design brief within cost and time constraints
