Part-time (3-4 days per week) | Hybrid - London with occasional UK travel

A leading multi-business, international group (c1200 FTE) is looking for a strategic and commercially minded Head of Learning & Leadership Development to shape and deliver a future-focused learning strategy across diverse business operations.

In this high-impact role, you'll partner with senior leaders to elevate organisational capability, strengthen team performance, and create clear development pathways for employees at every level - from front-line supervisors to senior executives.

What you'll be doing

• Setting the vision and strategic roadmap for Learning & Leadership Development across the organisation.
• Commissioning and overseeing high-quality leadership programmes, management development initiatives, coaching, and mentoring frameworks.
• Creating a Group-wide learning strategy that blends scalability with local adaptability.
• Partnering with operational leaders to develop front-line leadership capability and embed practical supervisory skills.
• Overseeing compliance and soft skills training delivery through best-in-class third-party platforms.
• Using data, feedback, and performance metrics to evaluate the impact of learning investments and inform continuous improvement.
• Providing toolkits, frameworks, and guidance to empower local HR and operational teams.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience leading L&D and Leadership Development strategy in a fast-paced, ideally regulated environment
• A track record in developing executive and first-line managers and delivering leadership programmes that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Experience working with digital learning platforms and integrating them into daily operations.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills in a matrixed, multi-site business.
• The ability to combine strategic foresight with the willingness to be hands-on when needed.
