Your new role
As the Head of Tax, you'll lead and manage the tax team, shaping its development and ensuring excellence across the firm's Corporate and Personal Tax services. You'll take ownership of preparing and reviewing complex tax computations, advising clients on complex tax issues, and delivering innovative planning solutions. Collaborating with Partners/Directors, you'll handle tax planning projects, contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities, and ensure quality standards are upheld. Additionally, you'll oversee team training, risk management, and the department's overall commercial success.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll need to bring your in-depth and current knowledge of taxation, a minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience, and a track record of managing teams and complex client portfolios successfully.

- You must be CTA, ACA, or similarly qualified, with a strong background in tax compliance, advisory services, and project management.- Proficiency in explaining intricate tax issues to clients with clarity.- Expertise in owner-managed business advice is essential.- A strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to develop services and seize new opportunities.
