Position Details:

Job Title: Health and Social Care Lecturer

Location: Bedfordshire

Hours: Part-time

Start Date: September

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £28 - £32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Health and Social Care that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles
• Teach and demonstrate key concepts and practical skills relevant to the health and social care sector
• Provide mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to students, fostering their academic growth and career aspirations
• Stay informed about the latest developments, practices, and policies in the field of health and social care to enhance learning experiences

Requirements:

• Proven experience in teaching Health and Social Care, with strong subject knowledge and practical understanding of the sector
• Previous experience as a Lecturer or similar teaching role, preferably within a college setting
• Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English
• Certification in teaching or a related field (preferred but not essential)
• A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one
