HGV Various roles

Drivers Direct Leeds are recruiting for all class of drivers for various contracts and locations in Leeds and surrounding areas.

Recruiting for:

• Days
• Nights
• Monday to Friday / 4 on 4 off
• Weekends
• HGV 1 - Container Drivers, Trampers, General Haulage, Trunking, Multidrop
• HGV 2 - General Haulage, Timber, Scaffolding, Brewery work, Multidrop, HIAB

Rates:

• Varies from client to client and job roles

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
• Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
• To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

• Must hold a valid HGV 1/Cat CE licence
• Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
• Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.
• Good communication skills.
• Good customer relations.
• Have a safe driving record.
• No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
• No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations
