Location: Hammersmith & Fulham
Salary: £110 - £130 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
Start Date: 23rd April (Trial sessions available next week)
End Date: July 2025, with the potential to extend into the next school year

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a warm and supportive primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham to find an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for their KS1 and KS2 teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to play a pivotal role in supporting pupils' progress alongside a committed staff team.

We welcome applicants with experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) who are ready to take on more responsibility and progress into an HLTA role. The role is based on experience rather than a specific qualification, though a Level 3 qualification is ideal.

About the role:

• Lead a class for one day per week in KS1 and KS2.
• Deliver targeted interventions in partnership with class teachers.
• Develop engaging learning resources to enhance academic progress.
• Work closely with the SENCo to support pupils with SEN and EAL needs.
• Contribute to setting targets and providing assessment feedback for pupils.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an HLTA or LSA is preferred.
• Strong initiative and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Solid knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning is ideal but not essential.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks. You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
