Higher Level Teaching Assistant HLTA

Milk Education is looking to recruit a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role at a Primary school in North Manchester.

This long-term opportunity will see you covering classes across Reception to Year 6, providing cover during PPA time and management release for teachers. The role may become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As an HLTA, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Adapt to various classes and subjects throughout the week
• Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
• Support the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies

Requirements:

• HLTA status, QTS, or a Level 6 Degree
• Previous experience working across KS1 and KS2 (EYFS experience desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff and pupils
• Experience within a UK mainstream primary school is essential
