Are you an experienced and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a new opportunity in Aylesford?

We are currently seeking a dedicated HLTA to join a vibrant and supportive primary school environment. As a HLTA, your role will be pivotal in supporting classroom teachers and enhancing the educational experience of students. You will have the chance to deliver high-quality lessons, work directly with pupils, and contribute to a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons as a HLTA
• Taking responsibility for small group and one-on-one teaching, ensuring pupils meet their learning goals
• Using your HLTA qualification to demonstrate advanced teaching techniques and strategies
• Assisting with behaviour management, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment
• Helping with lesson planning and providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress
• Working as part of a team to create an inclusive and effective learning environment

The successful candidate will have:

• HLTA qualification with proven experience in primary education
• Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and classroom dynamics
• Experience in managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Confidence in delivering lessons and supporting children with varied learning needs
• Excellent communication skills, with an approachable and positive attitude
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team of dedicated educators
