Location: Buxton and surrounding areas

Salary: £15 per hour mileage paid with 40p per mile plus Bank holiday enhanced payment

Hours: Full and Part Time hours available

The Role

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to the patients in their own homes.

This position requires traveling in the High Peak area so a driving license and access to your own car is mandatory.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviours to the appropriate healthcare staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Document patient care activities accurately using their app.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications

• Driver and access to a car mandatory- they pay your mileage.
• Previous experience in home care or a care home setting (Desirablebut not essential - full training is offered)
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the role.
