As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll support older adults in Harlow and Roydon, helping them stay safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes and build genuine relationships along the way.

A Day in the Life

No two days are the same, but your visits will always focus on care, dignity, and connection. You might:

• Help with personal care like washing, dressing, and toileting

• Prepare light meals and assist with hydration and nutrition

• Prompt or administer medication

• Provide friendly companionship, conversation, or a walk in the garden

• Carry out light housekeeping to keep their home safe and tidy

• Maintain accurate visit notes and report concerns

All visits are a minimum of one hour, giving you the time to do things properly and build trust with clients.
