Job Description - HR Assistant

Job title – HR Assistant

Location – Wythenshawe

Starting Salary – up to £30,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant looking to take the next step in their career. Our client is a growing tech enabled financial services provider who are going from strength to strength.

The Head of HR is looking for an ambitious forward thinking HR Assistant to join their team. The role will have a generalist remit and also give you the opportunity to work on exciting HR projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to broaden their HR experience in a busy professional services organisation.

Due to the nature of the role being a 6 months contract they are looking for someone to start ASAP

The main duties of the HR Assistant role will include:

  • Responsible for all HR Admin
  • Involvement in the input of information to the HRIS
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Issuing any new contracts and making contractual changes
  • Carrying out pre-employment checks
  • Being a first point of contact for general HR queries and low level employee relations, providing high-quality, effective and consistent support to employees
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of HR projects and initiatives such as TUPE, annual employment survey and job evaluation

To be successful in this HR Assistant, you will:

  • Be able to establish and maintain influential relationships with relevant stakeholders across the business
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Professional approach to work – ensuring accuracy in work, good attention to detail and standards are maintained
  • Flexible and adaptable work style and willing to participate / get involved in a range of activities to support the business needs
  • Previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Have a desire to grow with the business willing to explore all areas of HR

Benefits

  • Hybrid working – 1 day home working, 4 days in the office
  • Hours – 09.00-17.30/8.30-17.00/8.00-4.30 Monday – Friday
  • 25 day holiday plus bank holidays (1 day increase per year of service MAX 28 days)
  • 2 paid voluntary days per year
  • Free lunch once a month
