About the Role
As the company's first point of contact for HR matters, the HR Manager will lead the delivery of core HR functions-ensuring a compliant, consistent, and people-focused approach across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and ongoing staff development. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes

• Support line managers with performance management and employee development

• Ensure HR policies are compliant with UK employment law

• Handle employee relations matters including grievances and disciplinary actions

• Lead succession planning and training initiatives

• Maintain accurate digital HR records and promote a paperless approach

• Provide day-to-day HR support and contribute to employee engagement strategies

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role

• HND or Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Management

• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices

• Confident advising managers and handling sensitive issues

• Proactive, approachable, and highly organised

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Able to work independently and collaboratively
