The Role:

• Develop and deliver engaging and informative ICT lessons aligned with the National Curriculum across Key Stage 3 and potentially GCSE.


• Cultivate a love of digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking in your students.


• Design and implement innovative lesson plans that utilize cutting-edge technologies and cater to diverse learning styles.


• Foster a safe and productive learning environment, ensuring responsible and ethical use of technology.


• Play a collaborative role in the continued development and success of the ICT department.


• (Optional, but desirable) Participate in mentoring and professional development initiatives for colleagues.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a relevant subject area, with a strong focus on Information and Communications Technology.


• Holds a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience, preferably within a secondary school setting.


• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of current ICT curriculum trends and assessment practices.


• Exhibits exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.


• Maintains a genuine enthusiasm for creating a dynamic learning space that fosters digital exploration and innovation.
