Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Gateshead.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Inclusive support mentor with a people and learner centre approach. You must have a passion for supporting learners with additional need, in out of class sessions to join our inclusive support department here at our York campus. This role will be working part time, fixed term until 31st August 2025.
We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for creating individualised and small group focused interventions to build confidence and motivate students. You will create meaningful targets and resources according to student's ability and need. Sector experience and knowledge specifically in learning difficulties (SEND/ EHCP) will be beneficial.
The successful candidate will plan, prepare and deliver up to 350 targeted support sessions working in collaboration with key curriculum staff and curriculum team leader SEND manager.
Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, with excellent knowledge of the further education sector, and in particular SEND and EHCP. You will have excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with college staff, students and external agencies.
