Interim Finance Director (2 days a week)

We have been asked to recruit an interim FD role for a company based in Nottingham.

This is a newly created position, two days per week and it will be a rolling contract with a minimum of 6 months being signed off initially.

Perfect if you are currently working with a few clients and you have the availability.

You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and support the Financial Controller with the day-to-day accounts.

What they need is someone who has a commercial and strategic skill set where you’ll provide a high-level of financial leadership, ensuring strong governance, sustainable growth, and strategic insight.

Below is a small overview of the role…

• Provide strategic financial leadership to support long-term business goals across the UK, EU, and US operations.
• Oversee the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Partner with the Managing Director and senior team to guide commercial decisions and evaluate business performance.
• Manage financial risk, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, and maintain strong governance.
• Lead capital planning, investment analysis, and funding strategy as required.
• Support the Financial Controller in the delivery of timely and accurate financial reports.
