Job Description - Interim Financial Accountant - Hybrid

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial accountant to join a leading global manufacturing business based in Sheffield on an interim basis. This six-month assignment offers the chance to work within a highly respected finance team during a period of transition and business-critical reporting.

The role is ideal for a qualified accountant with strong technical skills and a hands-on approach, who is confident working in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes

  • Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

  • Assisting with group reporting and consolidation

  • Supporting ad-hoc financial projects as required

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

  • Have strong experience in financial and statutory reporting

  • Be available at short notice or on a quick turnaround

  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills
