Elevation Recruitment are working with a great business based in Leeds, who're looking to recruit a Financial Controller. As FC you will lead a small finance team and take ownership of day-to-day financial operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is confident managing people, processes, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee internal controls.
• Support strategic decision-making with financial insights and analysis.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to support business goals.
• Oversee risk management, including FX and insurance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA preferred, though ACCA/CIMA also considered)
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar role
• Strong technical knowledge, including statutory reporting and audit
• Confident team manager with good people leadership skills
• Advanced Excel skills
